Josephine Sally Guinn, age 85 of Lewellen, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11th at the Gubser Funeral Chapel with Fr. Bryan Ernest of St. Luke’s Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in the Big Springs Cemetery.
Josephine was born February 8, 1928 at Caveti City, Philippine Islands, the daughter of Samuel and Rosita Rothman. She married James Guinn at Golden, Colorado in January of 1966.
She is survived by her husband, James Guinn of Lewellen; her children, Bonnie Jacobs of Russelville, MO, Peggy and Jim Reeves of Lewellen, Richard and Roberta Rowland of Sturgis, SD, Kirwyn and Pam Jacobs of Grand Junction, CO, Kameron and Jeri Jacobs of Ogallala and Jody Packer of Greeley, CO; 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Rosita Rothman and one son, Kenneth Jacobs.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services on Monday. Online condolences may be sent at gubserfuneralhome.com. Gubser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
