Marjorie J. O'Hara

Marjorie J. O’Hara, age 73 of Ogallala, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Ogallala Community Hospital.

Memorial services will be held at --- a.m. on Saturday, January 28th at the Gubser Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Stubenrouch of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.
Marge was born April 15, 1938 at Cozad, Nebraska, the daughter of Walter and Ina (Troxel) Mitchell. After her graduation from high school she moved to Ogallala in the early 1960’s to work at TRW. She was employed at different manufacturing businesses in Ogallala and later at Indian Hills Manor where she enjoyed the residents of the nursing home until retiring in 2009.

Marge enjoyed her many friends and especially those she called the best neighbors you could ever have. She truly appreciated their efforts to look in on her and they always had time for a cup of coffee with her. Her children and grandchildren were always first in Marge’s life. Marge was especially fond of Katie Bruce who visited her frequently and she enjoyed spending time with her niece Renee Schultz.

Survivors include:
Three sons; Kip O’Hara of Knoxville, TN
Kevin (Linda) Block of Ogallala
Allan (Holly) Block of Glen Rock, WY
Brother, Dale Mitchell of Cozad, NE
Brother in law, Roger Schultz of Norfolk, NE
And six grandchildren, Heather Daves, Jonathan Block, Michael Block, Jennifer Sator, Jordan Block and Jacob Block
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ina Mitchell; an infant brother, Ronald Mitchell; and a sister, Betty Schultz.

Memorials may be given to Banner Health or Indian Hills Manor in memory of Marge. Online condolences may be sent at gubserfuneralhome.com. Gubser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
