Sarah Anderson

Sarah Anderson, 86, of Plattsmouth, NE, formerly of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, December 11th, at Golden Living Center, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Sarah was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma on May 9, 1928, a daughter of the late Mary Alice (Brown) and Martin VanBuren Beedle. She attended school at Wagoner, Oklahoma.

On May 7, 1947, she married Milton "Red" Anderson at Colorado. The couple eventually moved to Ogallala, where they both worked at TRW and raised their family. Sarah was a member of the Berean Church in Ogallala. Most recently, Sarah had resided at the Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth, NE, where she was closer to family.

Sarah is survived by a daughter, Melody, (Terry) Steinhauser, of Waterloo, NE;
two sons Dan (Belen) Anderson, of the Philippine Islands and Duane Anderson; sister, Betty Haynes, of Bloomington, IL; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 5 nephews and 3 nieces.

Memorials are suggested to the New Hope Church Choir in her memory. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com, where the service will be streamed live for those unable to attend.

Funeral services will be held at New Hope Church, Ogallala, NE, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 17th, with Pastor Eric Wait officiating. Burial will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home.
