SARAH S. BLOOMBERG, 74 of Ogallala, NE, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at her home in Ogallala.
Sarah was born January 19, 1941 at Ogallala, NE to Robert and Wauneta "Neata" (Stubbs) McEntee. She attended Ogallala High School.
On September 4, 1976, Sarah married Carl Bloomberg at Grant Nebraska. The couple made their home in Ogallala, where they resided their entire married lives.
Sarah enjoyed gardening, and taking care of the lawn and flowers. She loved spending time with family and friends, particularly her children and grandchildren. Sarah also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casinos at Valentine.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Dennis "Corky" McEntee, and a sister, Jenny McBride.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Bloomberg of Ogallala; daughter, Melissa (Richard) Burmood of Waverly; 2 brothers, Robert (Mary Ann) McEntee of North Platte, Tom (Ronna) McEntee of Ogallala; 3 sisters, Margaret (Ron) Pollock of Ovid, CO, Linda (Mike) Tuttle of Ogallala, Timmie Bishop of Tucson, AZ; 2 grandchildren, Tawny of Lincoln and Brenden of Provo, UT; 5 stepchildren, a host of step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in her memory. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com, where the service will also be streamed live for those unable to attend.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Prairie Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Chuck Rager officiating. No visitation or inurnment is planned at this time.
