Geraldine P. Green, 65, of Lemoyne, passed away December 17, 2021, at the Ogallala Community Hospital.
Geraldine was born September 4, 1956, at Raton, New Mexico, to Alfred and Josie (Sisneros) Duran. She graduated from Springer High School in Springer, NM.
On March 27, 1982, Gerry married Peter Green at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Aurora, CO. The couple made their home in Centennial, Colorado, for over 35 years. Gerry had worked for various oil companies in the Denver area for most of that time. In 2018, the couple moved to Lemoyne, where they enjoyed life at Lake McConaughy.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joseph, Kedrick, and Cisco Duran; and sister, Lynda Duran.
Survivors include her husband, Peter Greene of Lemoyne; son, Jesse Green of Aurora, CO; daughter, Mallory Green of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Regan, Caroline, Sadie, and Aspen Green; three sisters, Sherry Cook of Windsor, CO, Edwina Kertzsman of Rapid City, SD, Kathy McNary of North Carolina; along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the American cancer society in Geraldine's memory. Condolences may be shared and prairiehillsfuneralhome.com.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home, with Fr. Bryan Ernest officiating. No interment of Cremains is planned at this time.
