Marilyn Moore

June 10, 1932 - March 31, 2022

Marilyn Moore, 89, of Ogallala, passed away on March 31, 2022, surrounded by her family at home. Marilyn was born June 10, 1932, at Kansas City, Missouri, to Edward and Frieda (Oehninger) Prange. She attended school in Denver, Colorado, for a time before graduating from Plymouth High School. On August 6, 1953, Marilyn married Richard Moore. Their union was blessed with five daughters. Marilyn was a longtime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ogallala. She was preceded in death by her husband, two siblings, and a sister-in-law. Survivors include her daughters, Teresa (Jim) Kildare of Iola, TX, Susan (Dean) Hansen of Salt Lake City, UT, Marsha (Joe) Peaster of Fort Worth, TX, Sandy (Ron) Olson of Ogallala, and Lori (Dave) Roberts of Ogallala; 11 grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Taylor & Griffin, Austin & Aly, Amanda & Abbey, Suzanne, Brian, and Dennis; many great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Ramon Prange of Tulsa, OK; along with many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marilyn's memory. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com. Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ogallala, with Pastor Albert Bader officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery at a later date. Memorial book signing will be on Thursday, from 1 pm until 5 pm at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Ogallala. Prairie Hills Funeral Home of Ogallala is in charge of arrangements.
