ROBERT F. HULL, 87 of Denver, CO, passed away Monday, May 25, 2015 at his home in Denver.

Robert was born May 17, 1928 and raised on a farm outside of Brule, NE. He was the eldest son of Homer and Edith Hull. Robert graduated from Brule High School in 1944. He enlisted in the Navy immediately after high school with his parents permission and soon was at sea.

Following his honorable discharge from the Navy in 1947, he returned to Nebraska and worked various jobs. Robert met Arliene McAdam and they eloped to Las Vegas, NV on July 6, 1956 with Arliene's twin sister, Darlene and her fiancee Gailen Hoover. Robert and Arliene moved to California and eventually settled in Denver, CO and raised their family. Robert retired from Martin Marrietta Aerospace (Lockheed-Martin) in 1991 as a forklift operator.

After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, occasional forays to Nebraska and annual snowbird trips to Pioneer Rv Resort in Port Aransas, TX. Fishing was always a favorite pastime. His health had been precarious for several months and he passed away peacefully at home May 25, 2015.

Robert was preceded in death by a son, James Hull, in March 1994.

He is survived by his wife, Arliene and children, Rob Hull of Rapid City, SD, Lori Montoya and Jay Hull of Denver, CO and grandchildren Jordan, Tarryn, Kendra and Skylar Montoya of Denver, CO and siblings Doris Baker of Oregon, Art Hull of Colorado, Mary Dickinson of California and Howard Hull of Nevada.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Brule Cemetery with Jason Tickle officiating, with military honors being provided by the Keith County Veteran's Organization.
