Linda Diane Hull

LINDA DIANE HULL, 76, of Chappell, Nebraska, passed away March 3, 2026, at her home.

Linda was born on October 9, 1949, in Denver, Colorado, to Loyd L. and Vaudelle Elaine (Squire) VanSant. She was raised in Colorado and graduated from Jefferson High School in Lakewood.

In the late 1960s, Linda welcomed her daughter, Vaudelle. Not long after, she entered the United States Army and proudly served her country.

Following her military service, Linda returned home and began working. On December 20, 1969, she married Donald Vermillion. Their union was blessed with two children, Vivian and James.

Linda would later marry Walt Hull on December 16, 1982. The couple made their home in Thornton, Colorado. Over the years, Linda lived in Westminster and Arvada before settling in Julesburg upon retirement. Most recently, she had been residing at Chappell.

Linda worked as a cook for a number of years at Revere High School in Ovid, Colorado. She was known for her creativity and enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including painting, quilting, punch needle, ceramics, sewing, and leatherwork. She also enjoyed teaching self-defense classes for seniors. Linda was a member of the Solid Rock Bible Church in Chappell.

Linda is survived by her children, Vivian Vermillion of Julesburg, Colorado, James Vermillion of Ogallala, and Vaudelle (Jorge) of Denver; brother, Lonnie (Angel) VanSant of Julesburg; eight grandchildren; one step-grandchild; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Donald Vermillion and Walt Hull; son-in-law, Harold Hatch; and siblings, Donna and Mike.

Private family services will be held. Interment of cremains will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, CO.
