Steven Harden

Steven Mitchell Harden, 78, of Lemoyne, passed away on March 25, 2024, in Kearney, NE.

Steve was born on August 16, 1945, in Tolono, Illinois, to Orville Clyde Harden and Anabel Miriam (Dodge) Harden.

In 1966, Steve joined the United States Navy, serving until 1969. Following his service, he worked as an electrical engineer for PBX for many years. On July 13, 1977, Steve married Roslyn R. Schellhorn. The couple would eventually settle north of Lake McConaughy, where they enjoyed a slower pace of life.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Judy Wilson and Joan Harden. He is survived by his wife, Roslyn of Lemoyne; daughter, Stahsha (Greg) of North Platte; son, Chris of Arvada, Colorado; grandkids Issac, Shyanne, Sage, Tabor, Terick, Gavin, Danika, and Gabriel; three great-grandsons, Ryker, Levi, and Leo; a brother, John (Margie) Harden of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister-in-law, Jerilyn (Steve) of Brighton, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in Steve's memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com.

Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
